Arin is a Las Vegas based artist and owner of Scalp King Scalp Micropigmentation Academy founded in 2016. He and his wife Ani "Neenajay" founded both Ivy Laser Salon, a med spa in Las Vegas, and Neenajaybrows, a PMU studio in 2013. His background as a medic and a laser tattoo removal tech/laser safety officer gives him a unique insight into the corrective scope of SMP using lasers, aseptic procedures, and anatomy. Arin is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a two-time world champion.
Kris brings true artistry to the industry having studied portrait, anatomy, and realism drawing at the Art Student League in NY City as well as studied under the tutelage of many fabulous artists. It was her mom’s and sister’s battles with cancer that inspired her to begin the journey as a paramedical tattoo artist. Using her gift for realism art, she now works with women and men who have had mastectomies and reconstruction as being part of the Sauler Institute team. Kris has been awarded in competition for her areola tattooing.
Debra brings undisputable and recognized talents to the permanent cosmetics industry. Her flare for pageantry and the ability to make all feel welcome is unsurpassed from years of helping coordinate SPCP events since 2000, most as the official SPCP events Emcee. Her warmth and spontaneous wittiness makes everyone feel welcome and happy to be in her company. Debra’s technical talents lend to respected fundamental and advanced training, specializing in areola regimentation procedures in New Orleans. She is a much-deserved recipient of the Industry Leader Award.
Vicki brings nearly 30 years of experience to our industry and has worked with some of the top plastic surgeons in Texas. As a medical esthetician, she has been teaching esthetic procedures and permanent makeup for well-over a decade. Vicki customizes procedures for her clients, which include micro-etched brows, translucent/powder style brows, eyeliner, PMU correction, 3D areola, skin needling, scar reduction & camouflage procedures. Her practice, Vicki’s Making Faces and The Studio for Advanced PMU education is located in Arlington, Texas.
Sarah is the owner of 33 Stones Permanent Cosmetics and Training Center in Southern California. She has been a permanent cosmetic artist since 2006 and specializes in corrections. Sarah is double licensed as a cosmetologist and aesthetician. She is knowledgeable and well-rounded in all aspects of this industry and is a highly respected SPCP trainer member and speaker. Sarah’s Mission in permanent cosmetics is to make sure that fellow artists have the confidence to perform procedures, understand the human canvas, while practicing their craft safely.
Mastermind for Growth
Molly is the owner of Carefree Beauty Permanent Makeup with two locations in Lynnwood and Arlington, WA. For seven years, Molly has been practicing permanent cosmetics, and in 2020 started teaching fundamental training, including a full day on business, how to build it, and how to sustain it. Molly's thirty years of being in the cosmetic industry running a multi-million-dollar organization drives her to helping others to build their business strong from the first day they open their doors. In 2018 Molly was honored to be elected to the SPCP Board of Directors and serves as Secretary and Quarterly Editor.
Laurna is an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer for 10-hour and 30-hour General Industry programs. She has more than ten years’ experience as an instructor teaching Bloodborne Pathogens and the Principles of Infection Control for the body modification industry. Laurna has taught classes ranging from onsite small studios to larger convention seminars. As a tradi¬tional tattoo artist and co-owner of Mr. Shorty’s Tattoo Emporium, LLC in Lexington, South Carolina, Laurna brings real life experience to her classes, in how to introduce Bloodborne Pathogens Standard compliance into a working studio environment.
April Meese has been a permanent cosmetic professional since 2005. Her co-existing skincare expertise led to a special appearance on the Dr. Oz Show in 2010. April was soon elected to the SPCP Board of Directors and later received the SPCP Ambassador Award in 2017 for her continued assistance. She is currently the owner of Enhancing Beauty in NYC. Putting her business degree and marketing minor to good use, April founded the online marketing program Elevate Your Beauty Business where she helps PMU professionals increase their income up to 50% with the AMP-lify method.
Pam is the founder of Trillium Ink Scalp Academy, rooted in the Pacific Northwest. She has 28+ years’ experience in the field. She is a licensed esthetician and licensed, certified permanent cosmetics artist in 3 U.S. states and is accomplished in tattoo art, scar camouflage, esthetics, and microneedling. In her years of practice, she has helped countless clients, performing post-surgery reconstructive tattoo procedures alongside some of Seattle’s top surgeons. Hair loss professionals refer their alopecia clients to her with confidence. She is committed to providing break though techniques in her field and sharing those for the advancement of the industry.
SPCP Keynote Speaker
We are honored to have Susan Preston, a co-founder of the SPCP as our 30th Anniversary Keynote Speaker. Susan has served the SPCP as President on the Board of Directors and as the Administrator. She is a recipient of the Industry Leader Award. Susan is Vice President, Director of Program Development for Specialty Program Group. In this role, she is responsible for developing programs for brokers where there are market opportunities. Prior to this position, she was President of Professional Program Insurance Brokerage (PPIB). PPIB became part of Specialty Program Group in 2018. During her career, Susan has put more than 15 programs together, mostly within the London market. She is a well-known public speaker for industry programs and conventions as well as being a writer for Demotech. She is in the Insurance Industry Hall of Fame and has been recognized four times as an Elite Woman in Insurance.
Rose has been an SPCP member since 2008 and is a licensed cosmetic tattooist, esthetician, and electrologist living in Miami, Florida where she owns and operates Beauty & Brow Lounge. She is an industry speaker, content creator, freelance beauty writer, and published author of two industry books, How Fitzpatrick & Melanin Influence the Cosmetic Tattoo and In the Skin. Rose is also the host of her own weekly podcast, The Beauty Lounge, and is honored to speak at the 2021 SPCP annual conference!

We are honored to have Carla Ricciardone, a noted specialist working with melanin-rich and hyperpigmented lips, speak on this important topic. Her presentations are in high demand globally. Carla has accumulated over 80 learning experiences worldwide and created a unique understanding of how to deliver information so that people can own their knowledge rather than just watching her conduct procedures.

Mary is the owner and founder of MR NaturaLines Permanent Makeup® & Training Studio located in beautiful Fort Collins, CO. She has worked in the beauty industry for over 20+ years as a surgical technician, med spa manager, plastic surgery coordinator, PMU technician, speaker, mentor and educator. Mary has over 16 years of experience in the permanent cosmetic industry. She has traveled the world speaking on her signature NanoLines®, Machine Hair Stroke Techniques, gaining her world-wide recognition. Mary currently resides in Windsor, Colorado and has a new Permanent Makeup & Training studio in Fort Collins, CO with her daughter, Morgan Meyers.
Ruth is a professional permanent makeup artist and skin care specialist whose family has been in the aesthetics field for three generations. She works extensively with plastic surgeons, who refer patients to her for medical micropigmentation procedures such as areola re-pigmentation, scar camouflage, and vitiligo treatments. Ruth is a long-time member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals, selected expert at the Grossman Burn Center, and a network provider for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and UCLA Oncological Center.

Angela currently serves on the SPCP Board of Directors as President. A Brooklyn, New York native, she has lived in Georgia, Washington, and Germany. Angela is an SPCP certified trainer member and supplier member and owner of Effortlessly Beautiful by Angela in Staten Island, NY. For over twenty years, she has worked on both sides of the tattoo industry, with her experience as a traditional tattoo artist providing a unique perspective on permanent cosmetics. Angela also creates fresh ideas for the SPCP such as the SPCPLearning.org education site.
Train the Trainer
Shanan began her career in permanent cosmetics in 2006 and owns a medical spa practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she practices all areas of permanent cosmetics. She has been an active member of the SPCP since 2007, including serving on the Board of Directors. Always driven by a challenge, she pursued and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Tulsa. Through her nursing specialties and personal family medical issues, it became clear that wound care was a passion that complimented her career and personal goals. Shanan recently authored a popular SPCP book, Principles of Infection Control for the Tattoo Industry, a must-read for anyone in our industry. She is a recipient of the Ambassador Award.
